Ono Yoko (1933 -) who made the circuit which tied a different thing in various fields for 60 years, and was new. The book exhibition reconsiders activity of Ono who has been recited in American art after the war in the context of the city called Tokyo that is hometown mainly until now. I introduce a related document and creation, activity in Tokyo of the 1950-70 generation before starting writer activity, original creation activity to tie Europe and Japan and the United States, art and music and literature, the vanguard and popular music culture and society and an individual to through a recent work in modern times and the present age.
Ono sent a social serious problem to humor for many people by the approach that overflowed as a pioneer of the conceptual art which assumed the way of the original poetry a nucleus.
