■About Move Arts Japan
Move Arts Japan (MAJ) proposes a “journey model” of the Artist-in-Residence (AIR) experience, wherein one artist can take part in several sequential residencies throughout Japan. With the constantly updated map of residencies a cross Japan, artists can access an ever-growing range of information on things to see, foods to eat, people to meet (even animals), and events going on that are unique to each locality. MAJ aims to serve as an unlimited platform for artists to actively make their own map of Japan.
