Take Ninagawa is pleased to announce Thea Djordjadze‘s solo exhibition at WIELS, Brussels, “the ceiling of a courtyard.” In collaboration with europalia georgia, Djordjadze will present a new body of work, using presentation devices such as frames and vitrines to pursue her continued interest in display. Djordjadze’s installation pieces spark dialogues between the materials and its surrounding architecture. By activating materials, her works challenge the institutional context of the WIELS building by examining formal and material qualities of post-industrial architecture.
