Take Ninagawa is pleased to announce its participation in Art Basel in Basel 2022, also available for viewing online via OVR: Basel.
At the fair, the gallery is presenting an installation of gallery artists addressing the archive through the nodes of memory, word, and body. The artists bridge multiple generations and hail from countries spanning from Japan to Vietnam, Georgia and Germany. On view are new and historic works by Shinro Ohtake and Andro Wekua (memory); Gozo Yoshimasu, Thea Djordjadze, and Danh Vo (word); and Kazuko Miyamoto (body).
Concurrently, the OVR features a selection of works by Ohtake, Djordjadze, Miyamoto, and Yoshimasu.
