Take Ninagawa is pleased to announce Thea Djordjadze‘s solo exhibition at the Musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Saint-Étienne Métropole (MAMC+) in Saint-Étienne, Thea Djordjadze, opening on February 5th.

For her first solo exhibition in France, Thea Djordjadze will present more than sixty works produced since 1993, which will be installed within five “white cube” rooms. Djordjadze’s installation pieces spark dialogues between the materials and its surrounding architecture, expanding the viewer’s gaze into different dimensions of perception through factors such as lighting, volume of space, and transitioning points of view from one room to the next. By activating materials and awakening memories, the on-site installations will deliver an intuitive experience within the provided space of MAMC+.
