Koenji-based Mujin-to Production has relocated to a new space near Kiyosumi-shirakawa station. Mujin-to has been proactive since its launch in 2006 not only in organizing shows by gallery artists, which include Chim↑Pom and Kazama Sachiko, but also in producing DVDs, publications and products. The new space, called SNAC (Serendipity / New / Accidents / Club), will be operated in conjunction with producers of the annual Azumabashi Dance Crossing. They aim to provide an experimental platform that spans both realms: contemporary art and contemporary dance. SNAC marks its official opening on 16 April with a solo show by Yagi Ryota, with a host of pre-opening events in advance.
