Full course: Food and contemporary art

The sixth edition in BankArt’s Food and contemporary art series is structured around the idea of a ‘full course’ tour of the city. Visitors stroll the streets of Yokohama sampling projects by 11 artists/units including Kimura Takahito and Shirai Mio on the exhibition’s seven-course menu. The journey begins at BankART Studio NYK and takes in Kujira Yokocho (whale-meat alley, offering the eponymous delicacy) before heading to Koganecho. The meal wraps up at BankART Sakuraso, where guest can partake an after sweet (sakura mochi) and drink (sakura liqueur) at Kaihatsu Yoshiaki’s Styrofoam tea shop.
