BankART school accepting applications

The Yokohama BankART-sponsored BankART school has announced its program for the January – March semester and is now accepting applications. Instructors this semester, who change according to the day of the week, include the butoh dancer Uesugi Mitsuyo and composer Nomura Makoto, as well as the art coordinators responsible for organizing neoteny japan, Uchida Mayumi + Kojima Yayoi, and the architecture and city theorists Nango Yoshikazu+ Fujimura Ryuji. Each course meets once a week over a span of two months for a total of eight sessions. Special sessions are also in the planning. The school is also looking for assistants to record classes and support instructors.
