magical, ARTROOM president/director Okada Satoshi says he will retire from the gallery world, and instead focus his efforts on running the alternative space and bar MAGIC ROOM??? on the fourth floor of the same building (NADiff a/p/a/r/t), in preparation to create a new form of alternative space. Gallery director, Ito Haruka, will take over the helm and relaunch the gallery under the new moniker, Island, at a space in Kashiwa (Takuro Someya Contemporary Art, Kashiwa).
