The 36th staging of the French contemporary art fair FIAC (Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain) kicked off in Paris on 22 October with over 200 galleries presenting work at the fair’s three main venues: the Grand Palais, Cour Carrée du Louvre, and Jardin des Tuileries. This year FIAC distinguishes itself with Modern Masterworks, a new collaborative project in which ten of the world’s top galleries specializing in modern art exhibit work of historic significance.
