MFA Gifu launched its Cross Waves in Art series introducing artists affiliated with Gifu Prefecture in 2003. Through the interaction of artists working across a variety of media, this second edition seeks to create a platform where the audience can enjoy both viewing and sensing art. The participating artists are Yoshimoto Skuji, Sobajima Mikiji, Murase Kyoko, Hasegawa Yoshihisa, Ohmaki Shinji, Okumura Akifumi and Kanbe Tomoyuki. A number of related events including artist talks, workshops, and concerts will take place during the exhibition.
