Pâques (Easter) Celebration 2017
–Art and Chocolate at the Museum–

Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Hara Museum of Contemporary Art

This year, once again, the renowned French patissier Pierre Hermé Paris brings the Easter egg hunt to the Hara Museum. Participants will enjoy searching for Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies hidden in the garden. They will also participate in a workshop where they will create their own portraits. A brief tour of the museum and the ongoing exhibition Elizabeth Peyton: Still life will be given prior to the egg hunt.
*All museum visitors are invited to see the chocolate making demonstration in the Hall.

Date: March 26 (Sunday), 2017
*Contents of the event may be slightly changed in case of rain.
Place: The Hara Museum courtyard garden and The Hall
Organized by: Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Pierre Hermé Paris, Polar Inc.
Time: Two sessions at 13:00 and 15:00 (each approx. 90 min. long)
Number of participants: 20 children* aged 3 to 12 per session. Parents may accompany the child.)

*Applications will be accepted from March 7 (Tuesday).
*If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places, participants will be chosen by lottery.
* Hara Museum members are requested to contact the museum directly regarding participation.
Participation fee: Free for one child and one parent.
* Museum admission will be required for any additional family members (e.g., families with 2 or more children): General 1,100 yen; 700 yen for students (high school through college) and 500 yen (elementary through junior high).
