I’m So Happy You Are Here: Japanese Women Photographers from the 1950s to Now @ Hikarie Hall

I’m So Happy You Are Here, an exhibition of Japanese women photographers from the 1950s to now, opened at Les Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles in 2024 and has since continued on an international tour. The Tokyo exhibition is an expanded version featuring more artists and a broader selection of works, bringing together 30 women photographers and some 200 works.

This is (Not) Conceptual Art @ National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul is holding This is (Not) Conceptual Art, a survey of conceptual tendencies in Korean art. Where conceptualism in the West is associated with dematerialization, the exhibition traces an approach that handled language and concept alongside material and form. Around 140 works by 28 artists are shown in four sections: “Language, Logic, Performance,” “Objects and Language,” “Mapping and Measuring” and “Manipulators of Signs.”
