Other Asian galleries: On the characteristics of the Asian market

1. From what countries do your buyers hail, and approximately what percent of your current total clientele and sales (individuals + organizations) do they represent?

Percentage of buyers by country (based on responses from 9 galleries)*

Percentage of sales by country (based on responses from 9 galleries)*

*The results were obtained by adding up the responses from each gallery (expressed as a percentage) and dividing this by the number of galleries. Accordingly, they do not accurately represent an absolute value (total number of buyers or total sales).

Due to the low number of valid responses, the results may not necessarily reflect the overall trend.

Sales at Chinese galleries tend to be spread relatively evenly among buyers from different countries. Sales at galleries in countries such as Taiwan and India tend to be concentrated overwhelmingly among local buyers. (Note, however, that only one gallery from Taiwan responded.)

2. Have you seen an increase in buyers or sales from any countries or regions? If so, please specify.
