Giacometti sets world auction record at Sotheby's

Alberto Giacometti's bronze L'Homme Qui Marche I (1961) sold for a shattering £65,001,250 (pre-sale estimate £12–18 million) to an anonymous telephone bidder in the Sotheby's London Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale on 3 February, setting a world auction record for any work of art.
