Art fairs staged in the guest rooms of hotels, where visitors can view art in a quasi-residential setting, have become increasingly popular over the past several years. The Asia Top Gallery Hotel Art Fair, first held in 2008 at the Hotel New Otani in Tokyo and in 2009 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul, will be held this year at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong - aspiring to 'revitalize the Asian art market and promote emerging artists from Asia'. The more than 70 galleries from China, Korea and Japan will present some 1800 works of art over the course of three days.
