Call for entries: Gunma Biennale for Young Artists

The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma is calling for entries for the 2010 edition of its Biennale for Young Artists. Entry is open to artists 30 years of age and younger and artworks of all genres. Forming this year's jury are artists Ito Zon and Konoike Tomoko, independent curators Kato Yoshio and Kubota Kenji, and chief curator of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography Kasahara Michiko. The top prizewinner will be awarded one million Japanese yen. The Museum is currently holding a group show of works by seven GBYA prizewinners from the 2000s.
