The artist unit Ikeda Midori, consisting of photographer Ikeda Masanori and artist Mitamura Midori, have published a photo-collection bearing their collective name. Formed in 2007, the unit made its emerging artist debut in Europe in 2008 at the FotoGrafia international photography festival, and continues to be active both in Japan and abroad. To celebrate its release, the artists have invited the designer of the book, Kikuchi Atsuki, to join them in their attempt to answer the question, 'What is Ikeda Midori?'
