Men of Berlin and the salt

The 7th Hamburg day.


It is a rest day today. I do not yet go out of the hotel. There are colored leaves and the cloud of the lead color in the outside of the window.


I exhibit it this time in the basement of a building rebuilding. It was very primitive, and the line which men of Berlin drew was beautiful. It seems to be a fresco of Lascaux.


I am troubled to "cold" and "dust". About 5 degrees minimum temperature of Hamburg. The basement of morning and evening is very cold. However, I got a friend. It is an electric heater. Anyway, the cold is settled in this. Another problem is dust. The dust of the construction is considerable quantity. Please watch the black part of the floor. A part having dark color of the floor just before the heater is an original color. The other white parts are dust piled up in a night. The quantity of the dust was beyond my expectation greatly. However, the sedimentation of the dust is the evidence that a building gets closer to completion.



The area finished by last night is 47% of the whole.
