Project in Köln

I went back to Japan from Köln, and one month passed. On Sunday of June 6 that was the solo exhibition last day at St. peter, "Return to Sea, project" was performed. This project has a participant break a work, and it is a thing to have the sea give back salt. I was not able to participate this time. However, the children who gathered for mass came in great numbers.

And the project finally start! My installation work disappears from the world in this again. I am slightly lonely. However, I am glad when I watch a happy face of them. I seem to hear a shout of joy of children.

People usually take salt to home. However, they put back salt to the river together this time. Because, Köln is located in the German inland department. There is distance a little bit to the North Sea.

The sightseeing train of the child use that the movement from a church to the Rhine did special order. They moved by it for children.

They arrived at the Rhine. They returned salt all at once. When will this salt arrive at the sea?

At the church, mass for adults was performed, but one boy scrapes up salt left silently on the side. He brought the biggest bag today!!! I met him during production sometimes. He said comment like adult. "The work of Yamamoto is a job to need time for very much,,,"

By this event, my installation work has disappeared in the world.
The next exhibition is Marseilles of September.
