And now, I held my solo show of eN-arts in Kyoto. This gallery is next to Yasaka-jinja Shrine in Gion. It is the gallery who redecorated the Japanese-style old restaurant. It has a dark basement and tea-ceremony room, etc,. I exhibit 2 installation works, drawings, and photographs.

I stay in Kyoto for production from the day before yesterday. Kyoto is good! Because there are many alleys. I like the history. Therefore, I am glad when I walk the alley of Kyoto. I feel living in the various times. Kanazawa where I live in and Onomichi of birth have many alleys. Therefore I may be to like an alley.


There is this place in Maruyama Park adjacent to Yasaka-jinja Shrine. It is the gallery who redecorated the Japanese traditional restaurant. It is the gallery who redecorated the Japanese house. It has a dark basement and tea-ceremony room, etc,. And half cherry blossoms bloom to the decoy of Maruyama Park.

I exhibit 2 installation works and some drawings.
It is the storm of the cherry blossoms on the opening reception, Friday April 2.

Sakura, the cherry blossoms of my home, today flowering. Spring came to my city, Kanazawa! The seedling of "Kawazu Sakura" which I purchased for the motifs of the work last year. One of them of the inside was open only a few minutes ago. This is a cherry blossoms of the early blooming. And, the color taste is slightly thick, too.




I made "improvement to have you enjoy a work more" on the work in the end of February. The refinement is 3.

1) You can be in the work ( It is the part of the floor without the salt! )
2) The protection guard of the work changed it into a low thing.
3) I established the stairs. Therefore you can look at the whole work from the high position.

These decision was accompanied with difficulty. However, I decided it. The uneasiness of the destruction is left. I pray from Kanazawa not to be broken. Please sense it bodily by all means if there is an opportunity to go to the art museum.

Public production the fifth day. Today of the 16th day, the work was completed. The all of you who cooperated, thank you very much.



People can be in this work inside. An angle from here can feel extent most.


As for this production, a lot of elements such as size or the illumination of the meeting place which I cannot control as expected were difficult. But it was good that I was able to challenge space constitution without what I tried and illumination. I want to take a device having you enjoy a work more.

Of course I lose a protection wall and want you to get together to the neighborhood of the work. I want you to watch a work from the high position. However, the trouble of the work damage happens by all means. ,,, I decided when I performed them. I decided to pray from Kanazawa so that a big trouble did not happen. And the protection wall disappears from 23rd, the stairs are going to be installed. Please expect it!


And it is a party in the last!! Masko of the intern made a handmade cake for my birthday. Thank you!


After all, in the last of the Tokyo stay for 20 days, it will be "Darma"!

It is production the tenth day today. I just drew it for 100 hours.
It is an opening reception today! The remaining production is work-in progress.

I became ill-conditioned from production the fourth day. A body does not move me as having thought. And it is night of the fifth day. I had norovirus, Oh!
As for me, 38.5 higher ran a fever and spent night when the chill was terrible.
However, I reopen production from the afternoon of the next day that I recover.
Mmm,The bivalve is dangerous!

Refined salt of 300 kilos arrived at the museum. And I started to install my work on 26th in earnest. I am going to install it for about 2 weeks for ten hours on a day.



This work is "Labyrinth." I will cover about 180 square meters with salt exhaustively.



The center is gallery owner of Hamburg, Ms. Mikiko Sato. Installing is lonely work. However, a feeling becomes lively when a friend visits. Thank you! The right side, Ms. Emi Yamaguchi continues chasing a state of the installing in the museum all the time. Please take it cool!



After work, we drank at the Japanese style bar nearby. Ms. Ritsu Yoshino and Mr. Fumihiko Sumitomo worked before in 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. By a reencounter with the good old friend, I had delicious liquor. As a result, my fatigue was gone!
