I launched experimental workshop "Open Lab." within the frame of my lecture class at the Tokyo Zokei University. (duration: from mid April to mid July)

At Open Lab., I and two elder students (who recently opened the alternative space "Flea Maison" in Tokyo downtown), as incubators, stimulate the students to start autonomous research projects and open my class three times to present the progress and for further discussions.

As a starter, we did two events out of class recently, one is the open "connecting party" in the room of president of the university with the president on April 25, sunday afternoon.

On April 29 (Thu, holiday), had the "Urban Picnic" fieldwork to take a walk around Tokyo downtown and visited several alternative spaces, had dinner, then reached to the Flea Maison for gathering .

We open "Open Lab. " to anybody who is interested in, to join the workshop to collaborate, and also we utilize the Ustream+twitter to stream realtime for further interaction. By now two research groups were born and I look forward to seeing the progress.

I will restart new activities by leaving ICC at the end of March.
Now, the information networks are in drastic change and the way of communication also.
I would like to get involved for the future culture, with more flexible stance.

Will continue my activities in universities (Specially-assigned Professor, Tokyo Zokei Univ., Guest Prof. of Tama Art Univ., Lecturerer at IAMA, Tokyo Metropolitan Univ., etc.).

Heading for the creative future, and new cultural value..!
