Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale Executive Committee (Chairman: Yoshifumi Sekiguchi, Mayor of Tokamachi-City) is pleased to announce the open call for proposals for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2015 which will be held in the summer of 2015. We look forward to receiving original, unique and innovative ideas from around the world.

【Contents】
Seeks artworks and plans that make the best use of history and culture of Echigo-Tsumari or a proposal for event/program that has the power to inspire or raise awareness of Echigo-Tsumari internationally.
●A: Artwork, performance
●B: Program or plan making the best use of existing facilities or artworks
●C: Free genre
※Location for proposed artworks will be decided by the project office.
※Open call for ROOOOTS (re-design project) and accredited events will also be made in due course.

【Eligibility】
Anyone with an appreciation of the concept of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale
（References： Annual catalogue of previous four Triennales (2000, 2003, 2006, 2009), Catalogue of the Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art, KINARE, and official website of the Triennale.）


【Submission】
Sat 1 June to Fri 14 June 2013 Complete set of application should be delivered to the project office by 18:00 of Fri 14 June 2013.

【Number of artworks to be selected】
Approximately 10（Number may vary depending on various conditions）

【How to apply】

Please pay the entry fee in advance and submit necessary documents listed in the guidelines for application.

【Inspection Tour】

"To Nirvana and Black" Photo Exhibition Naoki Ishikawa / Daido Moriyama

The exhibition to be held in 8/ is by the participating artists of the Triennale, Daido Moriyama who participated in the Arts Festival 2003 and Naoki Ishikawa is the official photographer of the Triennale. Additonally, we introduce a scale model of [Kinare] Museum of Contemporary Art which will be opened just before the Triennale.

During this events, we offer Passports, Tickets, Official guidebook and goods, and also you can book the tour. And we call for the Triennale supporting team called "Kohebi" and you can just sign up there.
